When things in our life do not turn out like we want them to we sometimes get disappointed and offended at God. This can cause us to become bitter and rebel against God and miss God’s will for our lives. So let’s join Bill Johnson as he explains how we can overcome disappointments.

1 Cor. 13:13 And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.
1Jn.4:18 There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].
19.We love, because He first loved us.
We are confident that God our Father’s always has our best interest at heart in all of His dealings with us. Because His love is perfect we can always trust God our Father to work all things together for our good and His glory. Let’s talk about it.

1 COR. 13:8 SAYS, “Love never fails” this makes love the most powerful weapon we have to empower our loved ones to become fully devoted followers of Jesus the Christ. Love expressed through honor, respect, physical touch, words of affirmation, loving eye contact, quality time, and providing basic needs encourages our family members to reach their full potential in Christ. Eph.6 tells us if we operate in this family love that things will go well for us and we will live long on the earth. That is enough motivation for me, so let’s get started with this powerful weapon of Family Love.

PR. 17:17 A friend loves at all times,
