Mt. 22:37-40 And Jesus replied to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
This is the first and greatest commandment.
The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’
The whole Law and the [writings of the] Prophets depend on these two commandments.”
THIS IS THE REASON FOR OUR SEASON HERE ON EARTH, LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
EPISODE 288 BLESSED TO BE A SERVANT
Php.2:1-9 Therefore if there is any encouragement and comfort in Christ [as there certainly is in abundance], if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship [that we share] in the Spirit, if [there is] any [great depth of] affection and compassion,
make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love [toward one another], knit together in spirit, intent on one purpose [and living a life that reflects your faith and spreads the gospel — the good news regarding salvation through faith in Christ].
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit [through factional motives, or strife], but with [an attitude of] humility [being neither arrogant nor self-righteous], regard others as more important than yourselves.
Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],
who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes — the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it];
but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man].
After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross.
For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

EPISODE 287 THE REASON FOR YOUR SEASON #2
1Co. 10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God.
WE EXIST TO GLORIFY GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
EPISODE 286 THE REASON FOR YOUR SEASON
1Co. 10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God.
WE EXIST TO GLORIFY GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
EPISODE 285 CHARACTERISTICS OF SONSHIP
Ro. 8:19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
Ro. 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Let’s pursue sonship as we talk about it!
EPISODE 284 SIGNS OF THE BELIEVER
Mk. 16:15-18 15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned.17These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues;18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”

EPISODE 283 I FOUND HAPPINESS
Ps.62:5-8 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
What fills your cup? What lights your light? What gets you up in the morning? The Psalmist said all his expectations came from God his only source. JOIN ME AND LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
EPISODE 282 DON’T WORRY GOD HAS GOT YOU
Php.4:4-8 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]..
Hay, this is great news, let’s talk!
EPISODE 281 RIGHTEOUS PRAYERS ARE TREMENDOUS IN POWER, DYNAMIC IN ITS WORKINGS
Jas.5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God — it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].
If we really believe that prayer was tremendous in power, dynamic in its workings, we would pray much more than we do.

EPISODE 280 REPECTFUL WIVES-DYING HUSBANDS
Eph.5:21-28 21 ¶ And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.(cf. Col. 3:18, 19 )22 ¶ For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord.23 For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.24 As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.25 ¶ For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her26 to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.fn27 He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.28 In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.
1Pe.3:1-7 Wives1 In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over2 by observing your pure and reverent lives.3 ¶ Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes.4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.5 This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.6 For instance, Sarah obeyed her husband, Abraham, and called him her master. You are her daughters when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands might do.Husbands7 ¶ In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered. HAY, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS!
